About Temple Runner
Temple Runner channels the endless-runner boom that Temple Run ignited in 2011: sprint down a torch-lit temple corridor, switching lanes, leaping logs, sliding under gates and hoarding coins as the pace turns relentless.
How to Play Temple Runner
- 1Swipe left/right (or ◀ ▶, A/D) to switch between three lanes.
- 2Swipe up / press ▲ / tap the upper screen to jump fallen logs.
- 3Swipe down / press ▼ / tap the lower screen to slide under hanging beams.
- 4Solid stone blocks cannot be jumped or slid — change lanes!
- 5Grab coins for bonus points; distance is your base score.
Tips & Strategy
- ◆Read obstacle silhouettes early: low log = jump, hanging beam = slide, full block = move.
- ◆Never jump for a coin next to an unidentified obstacle — coins pay 25, crashes pay nothing.
- ◆Return to the centre lane after every dodge to keep both escape routes open.
- ◆At high speed, act on the obstacle *behind* the one you are dodging.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the obstacles?
Logs are cleared by jumping, hanging gates by sliding, and stone blocks only by switching lanes — each has a distinct silhouette so you can react on shape alone.
Do coins matter to the score?
Yes — each coin adds 25 points on top of your distance, so a coin-rich line can outscore a slightly longer coinless run.
Does the temple ever end?
No — the corridor is endless and accelerates forever. The run ends only when the temple wins.
